Varichon & Clerc Blanc sparkling NV 750

This chardonnay-based sparkling wine is a great buy for any occasion. The wine is crafted traditionally, using Methode Champenoise, and is of exceedingly high quality with fine bubbles and crisp, delicate aromas. Since 1901, the winery of Varichon & Clerc has been producing traditional sparkling wines from local and international varieties to great acclaim. Much of the Savoie area is mountainous, allowing very little room for land possible to farm. Despite that, and the regions huge climate extremes (again, Alpen foothills) the region has a growing reputation for crafting intriguing wines from local and international varieties; vibrant whites being the most noteworthy.
